OpenAI CEO Sam Altman described the newly-announced Head of Preparedness job role as a "stressful job". "You'll jump into the deep end pretty much immediately," he added. OpenAI is offering $555,000 (nearly ₹5 crore) as salary along with equity for the role which requires the candidate to anticipate and mitigate "catastrophic" risks as AI models become more powerful.
