A teacher without arms is maths inspiration for Jharkhand children

Born without arms, Gulshan Lohar in West Singhbhum, Jharkhand became a mathematics teacher by learning to write with his feet. Appointed in 2011, he teaches at Baranga High School at a modest salary. Despite hardships and long travel for education, he completed B.Ed and M.Ed. A role model and symbol of resilience, he remains focused on teaching village children.
