A train station in Japan is built around 700 year old tree

The Kayashima train station in Osaka, Japan is built around a camphor tree which is believed to be about 700 years old. The tree was located near the station when it was initially opened in 1910, however, as Japan's population increased, the station was expanded. It is believed that the station was built around the tree to avoid bad omen.
