Aadhaar card lying on road leads to discovery of undelivered mail for 18 months in Uttarakhand

Thousands of mail, undelivered for over 18 months, have been found hoarded in sacks inside a postman's private room in Uttarakhand's Chamoli. The matter came to light after a local resident came across his daughter's Aadhaar card lying on the roadside along Tungeshwar-Mal Bajwad route. After the postman gave vague explanations, people inspected his room and found sacks of mail.
