Aadhaar OTP facility for ITR e-verification down temporarily

The Aadhaar OTP facility for e-verification of Income Tax Return (ITR) is temporarily unavailable due to technical issues. Meanwhile, the Income Tax Department said the assessees can use other options like Internet banking and demat accounts for e-verification. The department also noted that e-verification can be done up to 120 days from filing.
