Aadhaar tops 134 crore users: Union Minister Jitin Prasada

Unique Identification Authority of India said Aadhaar, with 134 crore users, is the world's largest biometric ID system. Union Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology Jitin Prasada told the Lok Sabha, that the Aadhaar ecosystem has enabled over 17,000 crore authentications, with AI-powered verification, strong privacy safeguards, encrypted data and strict compliance.
