Aamir to return to Japanese cinema after 9 years with 'Sitaare Zameen Par'

'Sitaare Zameen Par' will premiere in Japanese cinemas in 2027, Japanese distributor Geek Pictures announced. This marks Aamir Khan's first theatrical release in the country since 'Dangal' in 2018. While his production 'Secret Superstar' also reached Japanese audiences in August 2019, 'Sitaare Zameen Par' will be his first starring theatrical release in the country in nine years.
