AAP leads in Jalandhar Lok Sabha by-poll, Congress at 2nd spot

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) took the lead in the Jalandhar Lok Sabha by-poll while Congress took the second spot, the latest trends showed. The by-poll was necessitated after Congress MP Santokh Singh Chaudhary passed away while participating in 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' in January. Congress fielded his wife, Karamjit Kaur Chaudhary, while AAP gave the ticket to Sushil Kumar Rinku.
