AB de Villiers undergoes eye surgery due to retinal detachment

Ex-South Africa captain AB de Villiers revealed during a Twitter Spaces session that he has undergone eye surgery due to retinal detachment. On being asked why he isn't playing Legends League Cricket, De Villiers said, "I'm too old now...I was invited...but I had an eye operation...You might think...I can play with one eye but I'd rather not do that."
