Indian Grandmaster Abhijeet Gupta defeated compatriot Neelotpal Das in just 20 moves in the ninth and final round to win the Hoogeveen International Open Chess tournament on Sunday. Gupta had a total of 7 points in the final tally, 0.5 more than India's Deep Sengupta and the Dutch duo Benjamin Bok and Jan Werle.
