Abhishek Banerjee, Derek booked for clashing with police over removal of TMC hoarding

An FIR was filed against TMC leader Abhishek Banerjee, Derek O’Brien and others for allegedly obstructing and assaulting policemen who reached Banerjee’s Kolkata office to remove a TMC signboard. Police said the Kolkata Municipal Corporation had requested removal of the unauthorised hoarding. Meanwhile, Derek O’Brien claimed 150 policemen entered the premises and “pushed and shoved” TMC workers.
