Abhishek got 1st poll ticket due to Mamata, but proved himself: Mahua Moitra

TMC MP Mahua Moitra defended Abhishek Banerjee amid allegations of nepotism and growing unrest within the party. She acknowledged that Abhishek received his first Lok Sabha ticket in 2014 because he's Mamata Banerjee's nephew, but said he has worked hard to earn his place in the party. "He's much younger than me...I've accepted him as National General Secretary," Mahua said.
