Abhishek Sharma becomes second-fastest to reach 2,000 IPL runs

SRH's Abhishek Sharma became the second-fastest to complete 2,000 runs (in terms of balls faced, 1,192) in IPL history after his 59(22) against CSK in IPL 2026. Former KKR all-rounder Andre Russell is the fastest to hit 2,000 IPL runs, achieving the feat in 1,120 balls. Third on the list is Nicholas Pooran, who reached the milestone in 1,198 balls.
