Abhishek writes to LS Speaker as 22 rebel TMC MPs seek recognition as separate bloc

Mamata Banerjee's nephew and TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee has written a letter to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla as 22 rebel TMC MPs seek recognition as a separate group. "Treat the AITC as a single political party...and decline to accord any recognition...to any purported separate group," Abhishek wrote. Reportedly, 22 rebel TMC MPs are set to meet Om Birla today.
