Abohar mayoral election rigged by AAP, alleges BJP

The ruling BJP at the Centre accused the AAP government in Punjab of "murdering democracy" and alleged that the mayoral election in Abohar was rigged. "In Abohar, despite BJP being the single largest party with 28 councillors, the AAP candidate was declared Mayor after a secret ballot that is now under a cloud," BJP spokesperson Malviya said.
