About ₹750 crore stuck in Qatar projects: Tata-owned Voltas

India's largest air conditioning company, Tata-owned Voltas, said around ₹750 crore have been stuck in Qatar as the company's dues aren't being paid timely. In some cases, contractors encashed bank guarantees "unethically", which was an "uncalled" action to make quick money, CEO Pradeep Bakshi said. "We've completed the project and handed it over. Despite that, payments aren't made," Bakshi said.
