Abstract sculptures redefine Kurukshetra’s sacred landscape

Contemporary abstract sculptures are being added to Kurukshetra’s sacred landscape in Haryana to attract more tourists to its historic shrines, Tirthas. Sixteen new black marble sculptures, carved during 15-day International Sculpture Symposium, will be permanently installed at Saraswati Tirtha in Pehowa. Themes reflect Saraswati River and regional civilisation, adding cultural value.
