ACAAI seeks DGCA help on demurrage amid West Asia curbs

ACAAI has urged the DGCA to facilitate waiver of demurrage charges on export cargo stranded at Indian airports due to West Asia airspace disruptions. The association said flight diversions and operational constraints linked to the Iran-US tensions have delayed scheduled upliftment. It warned exporters are facing unfair costs despite the delays being beyond their control.
