Accused in 18-year-old case arrested by Udupi police

In a significant breakthrough, the police have arrested a suspect involved in a case that dates back 18 years under the Udupi city police station jurisdiction.The arrested individual has been identified as Abdul Hameed, a 48-year-old resident of Chikkamagaluru. Udupi city police officers Sanjay HC and Hemanth Kumar M apprehended Hameed in Tavarekere, Mandya district.
