Accused in Saif Ali Khan attack case calls arrest illegal

The accused in the Saif Ali Khan attack case has filed a plea in a Bandra court, calling his arrest illegal and seeking immediate release. The plea states that his arrest violates section 47 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) which mandates that a police officer arresting any person without a warrant communicate the grounds for arrest to the accused.
