Achraf Hakimi, who is captaining Morocco in FIFA World Cup 2026, will stand trial in France over a rape allegation after French prosecutors confirmed proceedings against him. A woman had accused the PSG defender of raping her at his home in Paris in 2023. Hakimi has denied the accusation and said he is awaiting trial to speak.
