Action against Kolkata CP, DCP Central for 'maligning' Guv office

The Home Ministry has initiated action against Kolkata Police Commissioner Vineet Goyal and DCP Central Indira Mukherjee for 'maligning' the office of West Bengal Governor CV Ananda Bose. This comes days after Governor Bose wrote to the government seeking their removal. The Governor also accused police officers at Raj Bhavan of promoting allegations of sexual harassment raised by an ex-employee.
