Action should be taken: HC on 2 Hyd hospitals refusing to treat poor

Telangana High Court (HC) on Wednesday said that action should be taken against Basavatarakam Indo-American Cancer Hospital and Research Institute and Apollo Hospital in Hyderabad. The court was hearing a PIL stating that the two hospitals refuse to treat poor COVID-19 patients. "Stringent action should be taken...by cancelling their lease agreement and licence to run the hospitals," HC stated.
