Activist on tower for 18 months in Punjab likely to climb down

In Samana town of Patiala, a 43-year-old activist who has been staying put on a 400-foot-high tower for almost a year and a half is finally expected to end his protest, as the state government has taken note of his demands. Gurjeet Singh Khalsa, who has been protesting since October 12, 2024, is likely to climb down on Sunday.
