Activists protest at 2 German airports' runways, block flights

Climate activists blocked runways at two airports in Germany for several hours on Thursday. The protests on the runways of Hamburg Airport and Düsseldorf Airport led to several flight cancellations, while arrivals of 10 flights had to be diverted to other airports. The activists have urged the German government to devise measures to cut emissions in the transportation sector.
