Actor Mukesh need not resign as Kerala MLA over rape case: CPI(M)

Ruling CPI(M) in Kerala has said that actor M Mukesh doesn't need to resign as an MLA over being booked in a rape case after a female actor's complaint. Justifying the decision, party leader MV Govindan said over 150 legislators from various parties across the country are accused of crimes against women as per the National Election Watch Report.
