Actor Rajesh Puri nearly gets kidnapped, says 'they had planned to demand ₹2 crore'

Actor Rajesh Puri has said he was nearly kidnapped, claiming that he was tricked by kidnappers to travel to Delhi on the pretext of being a chief guest for an award function. He said he managed to escape after one of the men taking him to a remote location let him go. They planned to demand ₹1 crore-₹2 crore ransom.
