TN forest dept traces how endangered ape in actor Vikram's video ended up in Chennai

Tamil Nadu Forest Department traced the endangered ape, the Lar gibbon, featured in Tamil actor Chiyaan Vikram's now-deleted video, to Malaysia. It then moved from Manipur to Erode and Chennai, where Vikram shot the video at a private residence. The Lar gibbon, a tree-dwelling ape native to Southeast Asia, is classified as Endangered on the IUCN Red List.
