Actor Vishal Anand, who featured in 1976 film 'Chalte Chalte', passes away aged 82

Veteran actor Vishal Anand, who featured in several films in 1970s and 1980s like 'Taxi Driver' and 'Chalte Chalte', has passed away aged 82 due to prolonged illness. His real name was Bhisham Kohli and he is credited with giving music director Bappi Lahiri his big break in Bollywood. Actor Purab Kohli is Vishal Anand's nephew.
