Actor-dancer RLV Ramakrishnan attempts suicide blaming caste discrimination

Actor-dancer RLV Ramakrishnan, who is also the younger brother of late Malayalam film actor Kalabhavan Mani, has been hospitalised after he allegedly attempted suicide blaming caste discrimination. He had accused Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Akademi for denying him opportunity to perform in an online event on the grounds that he is from the Dalit community. He had overdosed on sleeping pills.
