Actress Afsaneh Bayegan gets 2 years in jail for not wearing hijab in Iran

Afsaneh Bayegan, an actress in Iran, has been handed a suspended two-year prison sentence for failing to wear hijab in public, local media reported. The court reportedly also ordered her to make weekly visits to a psychological centre "to treat the mental disorder of having an anti-family personality". The 61-year-old actress appeared at a movie ceremony without wearing a hijab.
