Actress Amy Schumer's uterus and appendix removed due to endometriosis

American stand-up comedian and actress Amy Schumer in an Instagram post said that she had her uterus and appendix removed due to endometriosis. In a video taken after her surgery, the 40-year-old actress said, "The doctor found 30 spots of endometriosis that he removed. He removed my appendix because the endometriosis had attacked it."
