Malayalam actress Kanakalatha, known for playing supporting characters in films and television serials, passed away at the age of 63 at her residence in Thiruvananthapuram. The actress had been suffering from dementia and Parkinson's disease over the past couple of years. In a career spanning almost four decades, Kanakalatha acted in over 360 movies.
