Actress Saayoni, criticised in 2015 over 'condom on Shivling' pic, wins polls

Actress and TMC candidate Saayoni Ghosh has won Lok Sabha elections from West Bengal's Jadavpur constituency by securing more than 7.1 lakh votes. She defeated BJP's Anirban Ganguly by a margin of over 2.5 lakh votes. Notably, she had earlier been criticised for tweeting a picture showing a female character putting a condom over a Shivling in 2015.
