Adani Group's acquisition of Ambuja Cements, ACC approved by CCI

The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has approved Adani Group's acquisition of Ambuja Cements and ACC from Switzerland's Holcim. Adani Group had acquired the companies in May for ₹81,339 crore. The CCI gave the approval to Endeavour Trade and Investment, a company incorporated in Mauritius by the Adani Group. Adani Group is now the country's second-largest cement player after UltraTech.
