Adani makes 1st submission as US seeks to bypass Indian govt for summons in bribery case

Billionaire Gautam Adani and his nephew Sagar Adani's lawyers have made their first submission in a US court in a $265-million (₹2,400-crore) bribery case filed by the country's securities regulator, HT reported. This comes as the US SEC moved a court seeking permission to bypass the Indian government to serve summons. Adani's lawyers have requested the court to defer ruling.
