Adani Ports to buy Israel's Haifa Port with local firm for $1.18 bn

Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone have won a bid to acquire Israel's Haifa Port with local firm Gadot Group for $1.18 billion, Israel announced on Thursday. Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone will have a 70% stake and Gadot will hold the remaining 30%. Adani Ports said the acquisition will boost trade lanes with its Indian ports.
