Adani's ₹2,400-crore bribery case should never have been brought: US govt to court

The US Department of Justice has defended its decision to drop the ₹2,400-crore bribery charges against Gautam Adani. The case "should have been dropped a year ago or never brought in the first place", it said in a court filing. This comes after a US court asked the department to justify its reasons for seeking to permanently dismiss the case.
