Adani seeks to dismiss US SEC's ₹2,400 crore bribery case

Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani will ask a US judge to dismiss the Securities and Exchange Commission's civil fraud case against him, his lawyers said on Tuesday. Adani and his nephew Sagar were charged by the SEC in 2024 over an alleged ₹2,400 crore bribery scheme. The lawyers said the SEC's claims were "impermissibly extraterritorial" and lacked credible evidence.
