Adanis knew of probe while selling bribe-linked assets to TotalEnergies: US SEC

Gautam and Sagar Adani knew Adani Green Energy was being probed for suspected bribery when they sold part of Khavda solar park to TotalEnergies, US SEC prosecutors said. TotalEnergies paid $444 million for a 50% stake in the park at the heart of bribery allegations. FBI agents had served Sagar with a search warrant over a year before TotalEnergies' transaction.
