Adi Kailash–Om Parvat Yatra to begin soon; Permit mandatory

The Adi Kailash and Om Parvat Yatra in Uttarakhand will begin from May 1 with authorities mandating Inner Line Permits and travel insurance for pilgrims. The administration has strengthened safety, medical, and communication arrangements along the route. The pilgrimage, held in Pithoragarh district, is expected to see high footfall this year amid growing interest in the sacred Himalayan circuit.
