Adidas, Nike online sales fall in China amid Xinjiang cotton boycott

Online sales of Adidas and Nike plunged in China after their remarks over alleged human rights abuses in the production of cotton in Xinjiang. Adidas' sales slumped 78% in April from a year ago, while Nike's sales dropped 59% on Tmall, analysis by Morningstar showed. Meanwhile, China Lining sales on Tmall jumped over 800% in April, Morningstar said.
