Aditya Birla to acquire oil giant Shell's India arm for ₹17,200 crore, one of the largest in India

Aditya Birla Renewables (ABRen) has announced that it'll acquire Solenergi Power from British oil major Shell in a deal worth ₹17,200 crore, making it one of the largest such acquisitions in India. ABRen is a subsidiary of Aditya Birla Group's flagship firm Grasim Industries. Solenergi owns Sprng Energy group of firms, which is a leading renewable energy platform in India.
