Adopt stray dogs as birthday gift to King: Bhutan PM asks citizens

Bhutan's Prime Minister Lotay Tshering asked the country's citizens to adopt stray dogs, plant a tree or commit to manage waste in their neighbourhoods as a birthday gift to King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck on Friday. The Prime Minister announced several programs in the areas of economy, education, health and technology on the occasion of the King's 40th birthday.
