Adulterated tea powder racket busted in Hyderabad, 10 arrested

Hyderabad Food Adulteration Surveillance Team busted an adulterated tea powder racket in the city and arrested 10 people. Raids at 15 locations revealed that low-quality tea powder was allegedly mixed with synthetic food colours, jaggery juice, and expired tea powder to enhance appearance before being repackaged and supplied to vendors. Around 3,000 kg of adulterated tea powder was seized.
