Adulteration of milk with ethylene glycol killed 10 people in Andhra, finds probe

Adulteration of milk with ethylene glycol led to the death of 10 people due to kidney failure and hospitalisation of 10 others in Andhra Pradesh's Rajamahendravaram, the forensic probe concluded. Ethylene glycol is a highly toxic liquid used in the dairy sector to prevent milk from freezing. Police had arrested the vendor who said the liquid leaked from a freezer.
