Advertisers urge to dismiss lawsuit by Musk's X over ad spending

Colgate-Palmolive, Mars Cosmetics, Nestle and others have urged a US court to dismiss a lawsuit filed against them by Elon Musk's X. The case stems from 2024 when X accused firms of collectively withholding advertising revenue on the platform after it was acquired by Musk. The companies said their ad pullbacks were due to X's ability to content moderation.
