Afghan forces kill 28 IS fighters from Pak, capture 32, days after Pak airstrike

Afghanistan said its forces killed 28 fighters and captured 32 others, including alleged Islamic State members, in Nuristan's Kamdesh district. Kabul accused Pakistan of backing and sending militants into Afghanistan, claims Islamabad rejected as "frivolous, baseless and devoid of any truth". This comes days after Pakistan carried out airstrikes in Afghanistan, targeting civilian infrastructure.
