Afghan peace march urges govt, Taliban to end 16-yr conflict

Hundreds of Afghan peace marchers on Monday urged the country's government and the Taliban militant group to end the 16-year war and restore peace. "Enough blood has been shed. So many people have been martyred in this ongoing conflict," a marcher said. Taliban had announced a three-day ceasefire during Eid, and refused to extend the truce later.
