Afghanistan forces kill 55 Pakistani soldiers, capture 19 military outposts

Afghanistan's Ministry of National Defence said 55 Pakistani soldiers have been killed in the retaliatory strikes carried out along the Durand Line on Thursday night. The ministry added that Afghan forces destroyed two Pakistani military bases and captured 19 military outposts. The strikes came in response to Pakistan's air strikes on February 22, which killed at least 18 Afghan civilians.
